General Getting shit done
I survived the pork overdose from the night before. God it was good! I had a really good day at work and our staff meeting was a lot of fun. R gave a great presentation on keeping an energy level of 10 with handouts and a brainstorming gig at the end. Ate KFC and it hurt like it always does. lol I love the shit but it kills me. Took off at lunch, ran to the bank and headed out to Kilmer’s to pay a bill. Got back to the office and felt like taking a nap. So, I slammed some emergenC and finished out the day with ease.
Got to the house, poured a drink and got busy on my living room. I turned this place upside down over the course of 3 hours and 3 drinks. (I felt that one drink per hour was fair)
I must say, it wasn’t pretty but I got the shit done. And, when it was all over, I felt pretty good. So, I decided to have one more cocktail and call it a night. I hung out in the shed, drank, smoked and upload pics to flickr. And here I am! HA!
M called from Seattle to top off the night. Great to hear her voice.
She was hanging out in line for some Indian food and we talked for a bit before I call it a night. She bought me plastishoesz. How hot is that?! I got it bad bitchez. lol Anyway, that’s about it. Gotta work in the morning.

P.S. How about that puppy, Ruben?

General wasn’t gonna but will anyway
I’m currently suffering from a serious dose of pork. I’m talking an 1 1/4 in. pork chop breaded in Italian bread crumbs and parm. Fried in EVOO and finished off in the oven. A side of garlic mashers and some green beans on the side. (Not to mention the 4 beers and english muffin) OMG I think I’m going to explode! I loved EVERY bite of it but holy shit, this hurts. lol I was gonna do something constructive but I don’t think that’s gonna happen. I’m thinkin’ ten toes up!
Anyway. Pretty sure I’m gonna go down soon as I can hardly type this. Sooooo, I’m calling this good. Will get you caught up tomorrow on all the rest of the important shit. More to come.
P.S. I miss my baby!

General In which I’m looking forward to in many ways
“Huge trees are uprooted and buildings collapse in a cyclone, but no matter how strong a cyclone is, it cannot touch the grass. This is the greatness of humility” ~Amma
Tomorrow morning I will be taking Mush to the airport as she will be going to Seattle for 5 days to see Amma. Sad that she is going and that we will be apart, but really stoked that she is going to be with Amma. As this is a huge part of her life that I simply love. I totally support her love for God and her devotion. Big time! I just can’t tell you enough about this. I’m very happy.
Also, sending a pic of myself with M to give to Amma for darshan. Can’t wait to get it back.
So while she is gone I have alot of plans for the up coming days while we are apart. Which include getting caught up on all of the yard work around here and doing some serious work in my apt. (aka my pretty little pain cave)
I’m going to get this place rearranged and revamped into something a little more user-friendly to say the least. Not that I’m a total slob or anything, but I have alot of ideas about how I want my environment to be. I’m going to totally redo the bedroom and get rid of all the shit that has piled up over the years. Including the (Crib-o-Porn) More on that later and I might even supply pics so you can understand what I’m talking about. lol Also, I’m going to shift the living room around and assess the bathroom damage. It needs remodeling for sure! I’ll keep you posted on the progress as the days go by.
Looking forward to a round of golf this Monday and also spending some time with my Momsie. (Love her dearly) So, if all goes according to plan, my apt. will be whipped into shape, yard work will be up to par and hopefully my golf game as well.
M will be landing here on Weds. I believe and can’t wait to pick her up and hear all of her stories from the previous days spent in Seattle. So, there you have it. More to come but all for now.

General Dayton Days was a blast!
Had a great time last night. I made it to Dayton by 8pm and found Woody’s with no problems. The Coyote Kings were setup and ready to roll with time to spare. Started with a beer, nachos and chili cheese fries that a team of us couldn’t eat! Chilled with M for a bit and then it was show time. M and the Kings tore that place up. They sounded awesome! Four sets later, we were pulling out of Dayton and headed for home. And no, I didn’t get totally blasted, just blasted enough and pulled off the drive home with ease. Made it into town around 3am and we crashed hard. Got up around 9am and got with Curtis and Sylv for breakfast. Went to Shari’s, grazed and then headed to the Prop Twisters Strip out at Fort Walla Walla park to watch some RC planes fly. We hung for an hour or two and then we all took a little drive before M and Curtis had band practice. I came back home around 2pm and decided I need a cocktail before tackling the new weed eater that I just bought. Took a quick trip around the back yard with it and that was about enough of that. Another cocktail.
Took out the trash, picked up my room and made the bed. And here I am.
I took a bunch of pics at the gig and got them all uploaded this morning as well as other various snaps. First time I really used my new LG Voyager for pics and I must say that they turned out rather nice. Hope you all enjoy them too.
All for now. I think I’m gonna take a well deserved nap before dinner.

General and God knows I need it!
I have about 3 hours of work left and then my weekend begins. I’m going to roll home and have a beer, hangout for a bit and then get cleaned up for the night. I’m heading up to Dayton Days around 7:30 and will get with M as she has a gig there. Really looking forward to a kick-ass time tonight! The gig should run from 9pm to 1am and then try to get home without getting pulled over. lol God knows that’s the last thing I need. But you have to understand that driving home at 2am from Dayton Days combined with the Memorial Day weekend can and will spell disaster for some. The cops will be waiting around every bend as they know it’s easy pickins. So for the record, I’m going to refrain from getting completely bombed and make damn sure that I get us home safely. After all, M is VERY precious cargo! So that’s what I’m doing tonight.
Now let’s talk about my site!
I have been working really hard to get this thing laid out the way I like it. So far so good. I have managed to get my Flickr and Twitter plugins to work without a hitch. A little header mod that didn’t turn out quite the way I want it but I will try again in the near future. So bear with me folks, I’m learning as I go and hopefully this will turn out to be an awesome site for all to enjoy.
Enjoy your weekend!

General In which I’m getting my ass kicked with
I left work last night at 7pm and ran by the store to pickup a few things. Milk, eggs, coffee, creamer, one potato, 2 avocados, 1 tomato and a wedge of Brie. Ran by the house and then came back to work to pickup Mush. We went to her place to eat and hang out with G’ma. M whipped up this killer soup that will be described as french peasant food. Also, some really good bread with the Brie, avocados and tomato on it. Oh, and a nice little cocktail to boot! I must say that the whole thing was crazy delicious!
Just prior to leaving, we were talking (which we always do rapidly and constantly) and I touched on a subject between M and I that I felt needed to be talked about. I’m not going to go into details about it but it was one of those honesty and trust things that I was compelled to talk about. (this will be dubbed the virtual splinter)
We grabbed the blue dog and headed over to my place to hang out and do what we do. Within and hour or so, our conversation had led to yet another deep topic of trust and honesty between us. Once again, I will not get into details here. (this will be dubbed the virtual board) However, at that very moment I realized that the small splinter I had mentioned earlier was trumped by my board. This was a VERY huge discovery for me and maybe the both of us.
Now, for those of you that know the parable of the splinter and the board from the Bible, you probably know where I’m going with this. So, how in the hell can I help anyone with the splinter in their eye when I have a fucking board in my own?!?! Never have I ever been more aware of this than now.
As we continued to talk about all of this, I realized that once I took the fucking board out of my eye, that so-called splinter in hers was really not a splinter at all. It was just a little eye-booger!
Maybe this makes sense to some of you. Maybe it doesn’t. But the fact of the matter is still the same: Take the time to think before you speak and ALWAYS listen. God will bless you for it!
All for now

General Within all the complications of this fast paced life that we lead, there is a very real solution to change and peace. Take the time to do something simple with the one or ones that you love today. For me it was sitting on the floor and sharing a big pan of thai noodles with the one I love. Simple, yes. But that is the point I’m trying to make. It just doesn’t have to be complicated anymore. And the noodles were delish.

General I got my site up and running on Sat. and then got off works at 6pm. I grabbed Mush and we headed out to Kelly’s for some dinner and drinks. I had the steamer clam’s and she had the fish and chips. It was awesome. Had a few drinks and called my caddy (Lazy D) down for a formal intro and then we bailed out around 9pm to go over to Becca’s and take her ass out for drinks. We all piled in my car and went to the P&E for starters and then ended up at Barnaby’s. We tore that place up, shut it down and then dropped B off. By that time sleep was much needed.
Slept in as long as we could and then got up and moving once again. A little bit foggy but off we went. Headed into Wal-Mart ( yes wal-mart) and did some shopping for various things which none of them really went together or made sense. None the less it was a blast and left without any bumps or bruises. Dropped off M and went home to mow the yard. It was freakin’ hot! like 96 in the shade hot and I almost had a stroke but managed to pull it off before dropping.
Got cleaned up and then went to the store for something to grill. Ginger/sesame chicken breast with zucchinni and a portabella for M. Grilled the shit out of it and feasted with a couple of cocktails. I tried to get rehydrated since I was drained from the hot weather mowing earlier but failed as the beers took over. It’s all good though. Finished out the night just lounging around and being the fine-ass creatures that we are.
Got up Monday morning and called Lazy D to get up and go golfing. He wasn’t feeling all that well (might have been the pizza from the night before) and wasn’t sure that he was going to pull it off. Well being the trooper he is, he just suited up and showed up at the course and off we went. Oh yes, the ball slapping saga continues! We managed to get through the round (damn near baked to death) and then home to the AC and more hydration. Seriously parched by this time, so I slammed about a half gallon of water.
Now let’s talk about dinner for the evening. I made M some portabella’s with marinara and mozzarella. Baked them off in a Pyrex dish and topped with parm and fresh basil. A little fried baguette rubbed down with fresh garlic and a good bottle of wine. The BOMB! Try it, you’ll like it.
The rest of the evening went accordingly and we got to bed at a descent hour, being that it was a work night. Woke up refreshed, headed into work and there was my new cell phone. Finally, the Voyager has arrived! Now THIS is one sexy phone. I’m completely stoked to have this little jewel and will spend the next couple of weeks learning all about its fine ass.
So folks, there you have it. A kickass weekend that these words can’t quite do justice.
All for now

General For those of you that don’t know me, I’m Kevin but most of my friends call me KJ. Located here in lovely Walla Walla, Wa. and is definitely where I hang my hat. First and foremost, as I delve into this uncharted world of blogging I want everyone to know right now that I have no intentions of offending anyone in any way shape or form. So as the days go by, please keep an open mind. I’m sure this will be an ever-changing work in progress. Writing has never been one of my strong-suites but I know I have it in me…So here we go!
In the days to come I intend to get right to the point about my crazy life and all that is around me. I have been blessed with beautiful friends and acquaintances as well as complete bitches and assholes. Hey, there has to be a balance after all. But for the most part, I simply can’t complain. (Oh but I will) But for now I’ll keep this short and sweet. The brutality of it all will soon follow…:)
So welcome all! I hope that you will enjoy yourselves and maybe take a part of my insanity away with you, good or bad.
Special thanks to Mush and Ruben for making this all possible. I couldn’t have done this without you. As you both know I’m a complete tard when it comes to this type of thing but I’m always willing to learn and better my life. YOU ROCK!
