Hello 2009…
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I will be going to Portland tonight with Mush to party with Adam and Adrienne. Should be good times. We will be returning to Walla Walla sometime tomorrow. Will give you all an update at a later time.

it was awesome…
For the past several years I have always done all the cooking and hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. So, this year I did the Thanksgiving dinner but told my family that I will be spending Christmas with the GF and her family. I guess that i just wanted a break from it all and my Sister and family stepped up to do the whole dinner thing.
I woke up Christmas morning, got cleaned up and then took Momsie up my Sisters place and dropped her off for the day. Left my gifts, wished everyone a Merry Christmas and headed over Gma’s. I had a really good time just being a guest for a change. We had a wonderful dinner and opened gifts, (I got a really cool USB Tardis hub from Mush and some food stuff from Reva and Dave) watched a movie and spent some time with JayRob in the basement checking out our WoW characters and sippin’ some Jameson wiskey.
It was really a white Christmas for us here in Walla Walla. We had about 2 feet of snow on the ground and some blue sky’s in the morning. Simply beautiful.
As for my family, they got along just fine without me as I knew they would.
Special thanks to Mush, JayRob, Gma, Dave and Reva for having me over. I love you guys.

and I still don’t apply myself…
So here it is Dec. 11th and I’m just now getting around to posting something. I know, I know but here we go. I basically been working and not really getting much done. I’m trying to get into the whole Christmas Spirit and all but I’m just not feeling it yet. I’m sure I’ll get into the groove of things soon as I always do. No shopping has been done but at least I’ve bought cards. Haven’t opened the box but I do have them…lol
Work has been really slow lately and I mean slow. The phones aren’t ringing like they should be for this time of the year and my numbers are starting to show it. My overall sales are down quite a bit and it’s starting to worry me. I mean, I do get base pay plus commission and if I’m not selling, I’m losing or not making that extra money that I have come to depend on to get through the month. It seems like people are getting really cautious when it comes to make purchases, even small ones like a dialup account. They are simply looking for the BEST price and if I don’t have it, they will keep making calls until they find it. Our fucking economy sucks ass right now (and not in a fun way either). Don’t get me started. I don’t know what the deal is but something has got to give.
I’ve been totally diggin’ on my new iPod Touch though. I freakin’ love it. There is nothing about it that I don’t like. I’ve been stocking up on apps for it and can’t get through the day without some serious heavy iPod petting. I’m currently listening to Thin Lizzy “Still in Love With You” over the Pandora app on it now. The Pandora app is sweet. All customized for my listening pleasure. If you don’t have an iPod touch, I highly recommend that you get one. You won’t be sorry, promise.
I’ve been trying to get a roof put on my house this month and have got a good bid but I’m having troubles getting a hold of the claims adjuster to make a small (1500.00) adjustment to the original insurance claim. Shitty weather to have a roof put on but I gotta get it done before mid Jan. or we lose the ability to make the adjustment and will have to pony up the rest of the cash to get it done. So, I’ll be calling him again in the morning and will hopefully hear from him soon.
In other news, I can’t decide if it’s truly White Russian season yet or not.
Oh, and Twitter is getting really fun lately.
I’ve also been leveling my Rogue. I just hit 74 and he’s staring to get some serious stats and some much improved gear. I’ve been taking my time and really enjoying all of the new content in the WOTLK expansion. Hats off to Blizzard Entertainment, I think they’ve done a great job and I have zero complaints at this point.
I went bowling today during my lunch hour with JayRob. I now have 21 games under my belt with the new ball and my average is 162 for the time being. Not bad at all but I think there’s some room for improvement. Starting to get the feel of the ball and how it reacts. I’m diggin’ it.
The GF has been totally spoiling my ass with cute little Bento Boxes full of yummy foodz. I <3 that girl, srsly. God bless her food hobby…lol However, I did make her a breakfast sandwich this morning just to show some food love. God I’m a dork…lmao
Well, what else. Oh yeah, the weather here is really starting to turn on us. It is Dec. after all. Looks like we will be getting our first snow this weekend. I like the snow, as I’ve always been a skier from a very young age. Maybe the snow is what I need to get into the Christmas Spirit and all? We’ll see.
So, that’s about all I have for now. I didn’t link to anything tonight so I’ll have to edit this later. I’m about ready to get outta here. Cocktails+Movie+Mush=Happiness!
